On behalf of BalkanRoad project, Agricultural University of Tirana (PP6) participated to the exhibition AgroTech 2019, which took place at Expocity, Citypark Tirana on 15-16th of March 2019.
In the opening ceremony of the exhibition participated Albania policy makers such as the Minister of Agriculture Mr. Blendi Çuçi, Minister of Infrastructure and Innovation, Mr. Eduart Shalsi, and the Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj, who evaluate the development of this event as one of the most unique in the WB and expressed support for all the actors that contribute to development of the agricultural sector in the country. From the side of AUT to promote the project idea participated: Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, Prof. Dr. Seit Shallari, Prof. Dr. Ilir Kristo, Dr. Erdona Demiraj, Dr. Romina Koto etc. The representative of “Macedonian Organic Producers Federation” (PP7), Mr. Goce Dzurovski participated in the two days of the fair’s development. During two day of activity AUT distributed leaflets, pens, flesh drives, T-shirts, files etc we was stumped the project design and logo.
During this event our Project was promoted through a presentation from Prof. Dr. Ilir Kristo, related to the project objectives and activities. His presentation was entitled “Roadmap for sustainable agricultural farming in Albania through involving different stakeholders: a case study in Divjaka Municipality”, where various interest groups participated.
Through participation in this exhibition, the project was introduced and promoted to the different interest groups, such as: policy makers, farmers, students and NGO.
