IV International Scientific Conference „Conserving Soils and Water“

The IV International Scientific Conference „Conserving Soils and Water“ was held on 28.08-31.08.2019 in Burgas, Bulgaria. The event was organized by the Scientific and Technical Union of Mechanical Engineering. The aim of the conference was to facilitate collaboration and exchange of research achievements from scientists, share their ideas, discuss and offer solutions for maintaining the balance and harmony between the society and Nature. 4th Project Partners Meeting of the BalkanRoad project

The 4th Project Partners Meeting of the BalkanRoad project took place in Sofia on the 18th of November, 2019 at the conference hall of Downtown Hotel. The meeting started with Mr. Plamen Dragnev, Chairman of AAEF who gave a short introductory speech welcoming all the members of the consortium and introduced the agenda and daily activities of the event. Visit in the Bulgarian pilot area in September

On 16.09.2019 under the “BalkanROAD - Towards farms with zero carbon-, waste- and water-footprint. Roadmap for sustainable management strategies for Balkan agricultural sector.” project the team of the Benaki Phytopathological Institute and the coordinator of BalkanROAD, the AAEF consultants and the Technical assistants’ to AAEF, visited the pilot area in Bulgaria. Visit in Bulgarian pilot area

On the 30.07.2019 under the “BalkanROAD - project the team of the Association of Agri-Environmental Farmers and the Technical assistants’ team Aberon, visited the pilot farm Bulgarplod Kyustendil – Georgi Razsipiyski. During the visit the experts took soil samplings, apple waste samplings, visited every stage of the manufacturing of apple juice and defined the key steps to be considered in the ROAD tool.
